Update – Jay Black will be having surgery on his foot this afternoon at 2:00PM. This is the result of the injuries he sustained in the automobile accident last week.
Also, Andrea Rambert from Guatemala was involved in a serious automobile accident last night in Guatemala City but escaped with only minor injuries. Her father, Philippe, owns the Las Antorchas restaurant.
This entry is way late. You can blame that on Dave Westhouse, Tom Compagner, and Louise Mason!
On the point today – Vinnie Brewer & Bobby Broome. Tomorrow – Anna Carol Bosarge, Danny & Pam Lewis. Thursday – Deidra Taylor, TJ & Lindsey Vice. Friday – Larry Blackwell & Kerry Kelley. Saturday – Ed Williams. Sunday – Chris & Nicole Taylor.
Matt & Kayla Averett are the proud parents of Hunter Averett who made his entrance into this world yesterday morning weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 20 inches long. Grandma Melissa Brown is one proud grandmother too! I am sure you will be seeing pictures soon!
Larry Whitehurst’s nephew, Perry Willis, passed away on Sunday. This is Larry’s brother’s, Edward, son. The visitation with the family will take place tonight from 5:00 – 8:00PM at Serenity Funeral Home. The service will take place tomorrow at noon from the chapel at Serenity. Pray for the Whitehurst family.
I learned last night that a life long acquaintance, David James, passed away unexpectedly yesterday. I do not know the details but do ask that you pray for the family.
Friendship family, we do not have any services/Bible studies tomorrow, 11/24. We are on a regular schedule this coming Sunday, 11/28.
The church office will be closed this Wednesday afternoon, 11/24, and Thursday, 11/25, for Thanksgiving. As usual, the office will be closed on Friday too.
I plan on posting an entry tomorrow morning but will then probably not post again until Monday, 11/29, unless something warrants doing so.
I pray that you will have a great Thanksgiving week with your family and Jesus.

Just wanted the choir to know that they did an outstanding job last night and they represented our church and Jesus Christ well!
