CHURCH OF THE ROCKIES NEWSLETTER

September 9, 2014

A Great Start For Church of the Rockies!
September 7, 2014 will always be remembered as the day Church of the Rockies officially became a part of God’s Kingdom work in Carbon County.  This past Sunday was not only a greater success than we could have imagined, it was also a tremendous blessing.  There were 93 in attendance with over half of the people coming from our area.  The COTR Praise Team did an outstanding job with music.  Chris and Andrew Baker provided just what we needed with the video and audio equipment.  We had the privilege of baptizing two people who had placed their faith in Jesus Christ, Bethany and Bobbie.  Mrs. Terry Bryan worked faithfully to prepare a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy.  Everyone serving on the First Impression Ministry Team did a fantastic job creating a friendly environment.  It was so awesome to see God working in and through the CORE Group. This past Sunday was the first of many wonderful days to come in the life of COTR.

THANK YOU!
Thank you for making the birthday of Church of the Rockies such a special day.  For fear of leaving someone out, I will not begin to list names.  However, I do want to acknowledge the fact that each of you did a wonderful job allowing God to use you.  One of the most beautiful sites in all the world is that of God’s people working together for His glory.  That is exactly what happened this past Sunday.  It was an honor to work by your side, and it is a special blessing to serve as your pastor.

Two Baptized on the First Day!
Bethany Auld and Bobbie Seymour were the first two people to be baptized at Church of the Rockies. What an amazing testimony to the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
To God be the glory, great things He has done!
