“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10

Eliana Grace Broome was welcomed to this world around 3:15PM yesterday afternoon.  She checked in weighing seven pounds and three ounces.  We thank God for the safe delivery of Eliana and congratulate Randall, Rita and family.  Lisa and I hope to visit with them this morning.

Victoria Collier, Linda Green’s granddaughter, remains in a Birmingham hospital but it now appears she will not need a heart transplant.  That is good news.

Stan Hatcher will have surgery this morning.  He has an old injury and the doctors have found a mass/tumor that needs to be removed because of the potential impact on nerves.  Pray that all goes well.

Our granddaughter, Sydney, will have her tonsils removed this morning.  This will be an outpatient procedure.  Pray for Sydney.

Daphne & I visited with Mark & Courtney Hubbard yesterday afternoon.  Courtney is not jumping fences but her attitude remains very positive.  Just keep praying for Courtney and her family.

We had a good day in our services yesterday.  Per Logan Hatcher one of our RA classes did not have a lesson last night but instead had a party!  Could someone send me a list of our RA teachers?  LOL!  (The folks who sat in the auditorium under my teaching may have said they did not have a lesson either!).

Friendship family – regular schedule this Sunday morning.  Christmas Eve service at 5:00PM.  (Deacons are asked to be present at 4:30PM)

Well, Alabama & Auburn each signed fifteen players yesterday.  Good for them – I guess.  Not much left to look forward to come February.

I like cold weather during December.  We certainly have not been having cold over the past week of so but they are saying our Christmas Day will be a little cooler with a high of fifty two degrees.  I would prefer thirty eight but will take fifty two over seventy two.  (Last time I checked God does not need my input into the weather conditions!)

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.
