I would ask you to pray for Miss Vivian’s emotional state as she is really growing weary of being in the hospital.  She wants to go home as she has always been so fiercely independent.  She is really blessed to have such a supportive family but she still has these emotional struggles.

Miss Fannie Fortenberry did come home from the hospital yesterday.  I appreciate Janice Moreland letting me know that and Bro. Jerry sent me an e-mail too.  (Janice, I sent you a message but it was returned – sorry!)

I was humbled last night at the annual pig roast as approximately 200 folks gathered for a time of food, fellowship, and inspiration.  I only wish that each member of the Friendship family could hear the comments made by so many of the folks in attendance as they thanked God for you!  Tico & Armando did a great job of sharing personally and from the Word.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special evening.

Also, I have to say a very special “thank you” to each person who cooked, set up, cleaned up, et cetera for the pig roast.  What a blessing!  Vriesland Reformed Church and Pastor Tim were a huge blessing by simply allowing us to use their building.  Yes, we are blessed!

I received the following from Michael & Linda Robertson last night.  They are in our missions budget and have been friends since their days at the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home & Cottage Hill Baptist.

The night of Oct 26,  we arrived in Ulan Bataar after a 12 hour trip by bus.  It was dark.  In the process of unloading our suitcases, and finding a taxi, we lost the briefcase with all our passports, Russian exit/entry papers, travel documents.  Lost or Stolen?  We don’t know.

Today we went to the bus station, called the cab driver, went to the US Embassy and to the Mongolian Immigration.  Nothing had been turned in.  The USA embassy said they could issue us temporary passports for $586 in one day.  Then in the States we could get permanant ones.  We are praying either the old ones show up because in them are stamped the 3 year residency granted us.

Checked with travel agent, fortunately our tickets could be changed, but the soonest available was Nov 2 with our family being split up on two flights from Seoul on Nov 3. We are praying that all of us can stay together if possible.

We are presently in a missionary guest house but have to move out tomorrow (as well as get pictures made for passports and go to USA embassy).  However, another Missionary guest house does have vacancy and allowing us to come stay there.

In the meantime, 2 of our children just developed fever and flu symptoms.

Would you take a few minutes and pray for them today?  Thanks!

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.

P.S. – Chelsea Cummings, Jamie Hall, & Jessica Hall will lead Faith Academy in the Elite Eight volleyball state tournament this morning.  Good luck to the Rams!  (The same goes to the Danville Hawks and Coach Spencer Cole)
