NEAL HOLMES

Visited with Neal this morning and he is pretty low physically.  We did have a conversation but he is declining fairly rapidly.  Pray for Neal and his family.

PRAYER REQUEST

Herbert Benefield has asked us to pray for his daughter-in-law in Tennessee as she was involved in an automobile accident this morning.  Long story short – she hit three other cars with one being a state trooper, one a county sheriff and one a pedestrian vehicle.  Both of the officers were injured but not critically.  Herbert’s daughter-in-law was injured also but is going to be okay.  The folks in the other car said initially they were okay.

Herbert asks us to pray for everyone involved.

MONDAY, 12/3/12

Happy birthday to our daughter, Daphne.  How old?  Cannot say but will say this is her final year to be twenty something!  (I distinctly remember that she was born on a Saturday and Auburn beat Bama  23 – 20 behind the running of Bo Jackson!)

We had a blessed day in our services yesterday.  I appreciate your faithfulness.

Joe David Bailey, BJ Parson and Keith Martin will leave this afternoon flying to El Salvador.  Johnny Tucker, Terry Nappier, Michael Mason, Chris Taylor and I will leave early tomorrow morning.  We will all be taking part in the GRACE Ministries pastors’ conference.  Lord willing, we all return home this Friday.  Pray for the conference and a special thanks to each person who has given financially to make it possible for the national pastors to attend.

I would encourage you to check out Alisha Vice’s latest blog entries so you can join her in prayer.

We are doing something different this coming Sunday evening, 12/9, as we are going to enjoy a Christmas supper together as a church family.  I have to talk to Marisa today and will then let you know the details.  This supper will be hosted by our ministerial staff and deacons.  Details forthcoming.

There is a wedding shower this coming Sunday, 12/9, from 2:00 – 3:30PM in the fellowship hall.  This is for Erin Tillman and Clint McDonald.  They are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Target, and Grand Bay Feed & Seed.  Erin is the daughter of Kim Tillman and the granddaughter of Charles & Johnnie Grant.  All ladies of the church are invited/encouraged to attend.

If anyone has tickets to the NC game that they are not going to use, contact me.  I heard yesterday that ND has requested 125,000 tickets – wow!

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
