Art & Debra Elliott found out yesterday that the doctors have discovered a spot on his lungs.  They will be going in for further consultation next week (Wednesday, I think).  Pray for Art & Debra.

The Barnes family will be eating after the service this afternoon.  Those folks bringing food need to have it at the church no later than 3:00PM today.

The Lord has certainly blessed us with a beautiful day weather wise.  Thank Him!

The visitation with the Tony Barnes family takes place today from 12:00PM until the 2:00PM service time.  I ask that folks please respect the family’s private time by not arriving at the church before noon.  Pray for the Barnes family as they walk through this valley today.

The wedding ceremony for Aaron Akridge and Taylor Sprinkle takes place today at 3;30PM in Eight Mile.  All members of the Friendship family are invited to attend.

Visited with Carolyn Blaylock yesterday morning and she was confident that she was being moved to a rehab facility later in the day.  I do not know if that actually happened.

Visited wit J.L. Nesmith too.  He was also confident that he was being discharged from the hospital yesterday.

Brice Johnson’s surgery went well.

I did not get a chance to visit with Sammy’s mother and I do not have an update.

The spaghetti dinner will be available tomorrow to help our students do missions this summer.  Plates are $6 each and are only available for carry out.

The Revelations quartet will be ministering during tomorrow night’s service which begins at 6:00PM.

Yes, we will have a number of folks out of town tomorrow.  My prayer is that those of us in town will be faithful and in our rightful place for the services.  If we do, we will be fine.
