WEDNESDAY, 9/24/14

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 43:14-45:10 Ephesians 3:1-21 Psalm 68:1-18 Proverbs 24:1-2

Our daughter, Daphne, is set to have surgery this morning at 7:00AM.  She should be discharged tomorrow.

Rick Bradley, Sr. was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning.  Looks like he will be there for a few days.  Rick is a big UF Gator fan and I tried to explain to him that it is only a game – wow!

To me, “C” looked better yesterday than at any point during this whole ordeal.  She was awake, alert and hungry!  Rusty sent me an iMessage last night detailing what a good day she had yesterday.  They did drain around four liters of fluid.  They also inserted a drain so that the fluid can now be drained on a daily basis which is going to be a huge help.

Nate & Megan Brewer’s baby did well through his surgery.  It is my understanding this will be a long road but thank God for the victories of the first twenty four hours of his life on this earth.  Pray for baby Case!

Our granddaughter, Audrey, remains in ICU.  They tried to wean her from the oxygen yesterday but she would have no part of it.  The doctor is not alarmed at this development.  He knows Audrey’s mother very well and understands that some character traits i.e. stubbornness are passed from generation to generation!

True story – Maxine Dupont is on the senior adult trip.  She went to get in the bed at the hotel on Monday night when she her leg was cut  by a piece of metal in the bed.  A night in the emergency room and nine stitches later and she is fine.  Folks, I cannot make this stuff up!

Learned yesterday that three folks were saved in the service at the feeding center in Guatemala this past Sunday!  Glory to God!

Regular schedule this morning and tonight.  Lord willing, I will be in attendance this morning but, if not, Bro. Jerry will be in charge.  We will have the 7:30PM Bible study tonight at the house.

Lisa and I continue to get “tons” of support via e-mail.  We are grateful.  I have been in hopes that folks like Ross Genzink, Tom Compagner and Pastor Bob Harvey will send money but so far that has not been the case!

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus.
