FRIDAY, 9/26/14 UPDATED

Just got word that Soy & Deidra will soon be bringing Audrey home from the hospital.  We, as a family, are blessed.

Just talked to Reb Nevin and she is at home having been discharged earlier today.

As it stands right now, no one from the Friendship family is in the hospital.  Amen!

FRIDAY, 9/26/14

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 48:12-50:11 Ephesians 4:17-32 Psalm 69:1-18 Proverbs 24:5-6

Reb Nevin was kept overnight in the hospital but, as far as I know, will be discharged this morning.  Reb is a “go getter” so they are not going to keep her down for long!

Baby Audrey is making progress.  It is slow but sure.  Deidra wants her discharged yesterday but knows it is best for her to stay as long as needed.  We want her to come home with zero breathing problems.

I will be preaching the funeral service for Dottie Dueitt today at noon.  Pray for the Dueitt family.

The Friendship family will host the service at the Mission of Hope tonight beginning at 7:00PM.  Bus leaves the church at 6:15PM.

Bro. Benny and our bus workers meet in the morning at 8:30AM.  Join me in covering this ministry in prayer.

I cannot adequately express how thankful I am to see so many people ministering to Brad, Daphne & family and Soy, Deidra and family.  Someone took supper to Soy & Deidra at the hospital on Wednesday night and then someone else took them lunch at the hospital yesterday.  Kim French’s Sunday School class brought supper to Brad & Daphne last night.  It is always a blessing whenever you see the “older” folks getting out at night like that to do ministry!

One observation – Brad & Daphne have a driveway!  There is really no need to come up our driveway and then drive across our yard to access their house even if you are bringing a meal!  Just because you own a Jeep does not give you the right to “joy ride” in our front yard!  (I will not name the culprits out of respect for their husbands, Will & Jason!)

Watched some of the two college football games last night and some of the NFL game.  UCLA looked good.  The Redskins looked awful.  OSU & TT seemingly play very little defense.  It seems almost everyone is calling for the Razorbacks and the Volunteers to spring the upsets tomorrow.  IMO, it is not happening as I believe the Aggies & Bulldogs will win by comfortable margins.

It is 4:00AM and Lisa has given me that “daybreak” deadline to have the groceries in the house.  Folks, she is tough!

I pray that you will have a great Friday with Jesus.
