THURSDAY, 9/20/18

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

We were blessed with a good day in our services, morning and evening, yesterday.  Good attendance.  Great Spirit.  Thanks be unto God!

Someone mentioned Wednesday night meals to me this week.  I am all for them.  Just need a lead cook and helpers.

Steve Morris will have surgery this morning.  I am about to head to the hospital to pray with him before his surgery begins.  Pray that all goes well.

The visitation with the Ann Collins family takes place this Saturday, 9/22, from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM service time.  Visitation and service at Radney’s Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile.  Pray for the family.

The Friendship family is feeding the family following the service.  If you will help with this ministry please contact Tina Wilkinson.   Food will need to be in the fellowship hall by noon on Saturday.

Larry Whitehurst gets two radiation treatments today and then one in the morning before heading toward home.  Keep praying.

Daphne arrived safe and sound on GRACE Mountain yesterday afternoon.  We are thankful.

Pastor Joe David Bailey has called in the score for the A&M vs Bama game this Saturday.  I will let you know if he got close once the game is over.

I am disappointed that Bobby & the boys are not going to make the postseason.  The only bright side is that Bobby will be home earlier.  I was totally ok with not seeing Bobby back in Grand Bay until November.  I cannot make comment on my favorite MLB team for fear of a jinx.

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.
