“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)

Happy 100th birthday Aunt Cleo!  Yes, Lisa’s maternal aunt, Cleo, celebrates her one hundredth birthday today.  She said to Deidra and me the other day, “can you believe God has let me live one hundred years?  He has blessed me!”  Again, she lives by herself and is self sufficient.  She is a godly woman.  She is the oldest sibling of Lisa’s mom, Ann, and Lisa’s uncle, Bobby Broome. Happy birthday Aunt Cleo!

Regular schedule on our campus tomorrow morning and evening.  We will be on a regular schedule tomorrow and next Sunday, 12/8. We will not have Discipleship Training or AWANA on 12/15 or 12/22.  We will only have one worship service at 10:30AM on Sunday, 12/29.  We will not any services, classes, et cetera on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.

We are asking folks to bring at least one canned good each to one or more of the services tomorrow – morning or evening.  Place them on the altar in the auditorium upon your arrival.  These will be given to Pastor Mark Williams and the Faith by Works ministry in Grand Bay.

Deacons meet tomorrow at 4:00PM.

The Turrentine family had a good Thanksgiving/Christmas fellowship yesterday.  Eddie & Sue have a great place to host such gatherings and they are always such gracious hosts.  Dad felt well enough to attend and stayed for over an hour which is really god for him.  Uncle Herschel, age 94, was also able to attend with his daughter, Robin, her husband, Terry, and their granddaughter, Bailey.  I mentioned yesterday that our first cousin, Tony, was also in attendance.  Dad prayed a wonderful prayer of blessing over the food which will remain a great memory to those of us in attendance.  Thank God for family.

Somewhere mentioned that there is a college football game today.  I think that is correct.  Again, Auburn wins!

Lord willing, I will be in the pulpit for all three services tomorrow.  I hope to be joined by many members of the Friendship family along with guests.  “Can” you join us?

I pray that you will have a great Saturday with Jesus.
