The online obituary for Carol Lucky has yet to be posted. However the date and times have been set and are as follows: everything will take place this Thursday, 9/17, from our auditorium. The visitation will be from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM celebration of life service. The interment will take place in the Grand Bay Cemetery. It was good to see Terry in our morning service yesterday. Keep praying for Terry & the family.
We were blessed with two good services yesterday. Praise the Lord! The proverbial “cherry on the top” was seeing Shawn Grant follow the Lord in believer’s baptism as part of our morning service. Thank you Jimmy Tagert for doing this baptism. Bro. Abel and Candy both said their 4:00PM classed went well. Jeff reported a good day in his men’s Sunday School class. Good stuff!
Larry Whitehurst, Jason Fosmore, John Milton Ladnier, Scott Fontenot & Keith Stanford each did a nice job of sharing in our evening service about their week of ministering in Guatemala. Rhett Butler, Jerry Poiroux, Kevin Sprinkle and John Whalen all said “amen” to what was shared by these men. I thank God for these nine men plus Tom Compagner & Jack DeLeeuw for being a really good team. Will we do a “men only” team next year? Most likely and we will once again limit the number of team members. Listen for more details in the near future.
Our students enjoyed a good time of fellowship in the CAB following our evening service. Thank you Eddie Albritton for coordinating this ministry.
