MONDAY, 11/25/19

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)

Happy 10th birthday to our oldest grandchild, Titus.  I hope his day is the best ever for him.  Seems like he was born yesterday and now he has reached double digits.  We love Titus!

We had a really good day in our morning services yesterday.  The Lord blessed and we bless Him for doing so.  Thank you to all who helped with the food boxes and the Thanksgiving meal.  Good ministry.

It was great seeing John Milton Ladnier in our second service yesterday morning.  He has done great in his recovery from heart surgery.

I owe a huge “thank you” to a really good number of the Friendship family for taking part in the community service last night.  We were well represented in the choir and the congregation.  I am biased but I felt it was a good service.  I think God was glorified.

One of the things that came out of last night’s service was the call for a “canned goods drive” this Sunday, December 1.  All local churches are being asked to join in this effort and then all of the cans will go to Pastor Mark Williams and the Faith By Works Ministry in Grand Bay.  Churches are asked to take them to the Grand Bay Community Church on Monday, 12/2.  If they are not there then just leave them next door at the State Farm office.  I know the agent!

Soy, Deidra and the girls had a great day yesterday too.  They were at Grace Point Baptist Church near Decatur yesterday morning.  This is where Dr. Jack Bailey serves as pastor.  Deidra had the whole Sunday School hour to share with the entire church.  It was a good morning.

Then last night they were at Danville Baptist Church where Joe David Bailey serves as pastor.  Danville Baptist has been more than kind to Shining Light Abroad Ministries and also to GRACE Ministries.

There will be no activities on our campus this Wednesday, 11/27.  The church office will close at noon on Wednesday and remain closed until Monday, 12/2.  We will be on a regular schedule this Sunday, 12/1 – morning and evening.

I pray that you will have a great Monday with Jesus.
