FRIDAY, 11/29/19

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)

Good morning from Hartselle, Alabama.  I know this entry is a bit late and I apologize.  Actually, Bibbi Bosarge (is that BB or BJ?) had said that she would give me a break from writing and post an entry in my absence.  She promised to have it posted by 6:00AM.  Once I saw that she did not I decided to give her an extra hour and then would do it myself if she had not posted.  Folks, you just cannot find good help these days.

Miss Maxine Dupont, Buddy Brewer, Myrtle Bowden and my dad all still need your prayers.  Miss Maxine should go home tomorrow, Myrtle is in the midst of her chemo treatments and Buddy & dad will soon begin their respective chemo treatments.

We are on a regular schedule on our campus this Sunday morning and evening.  Deacons will meet at 4:00PM.  I know we will have some folks out of town but I do pray those of us in town will be faithful to attend the services.

Please take note and/or remember that we need everyone to bring canned food to the services this Sunday.  Take them out of the bag and place them on the altar steps, please.  These cans will then be delivered to Pastor Mark Williams and the Faith by Works ministry in Grand Bay on Monday.

Also, a “white Christmas” is coming to Grand Bay very soon.  Details TBA by Bro. Abel.

Pastor Mack Morris will be our guest messenger on Sunday morning, December 8, in both services.  Pray, attend and bring others with you.

My Thanksgiving day consisted of mowing, hauling off leaves, getting stung by a pygmy wasp, lunch with the family, and then traveling to Hartselle with Gina.  Gina and I were blessed to stop by and visit with Decker Terry on our way North.  It was a good day.  (FYI, Ann cooks the best dressing in the world!  Just saying!)

Today, we will have the Turrentine Thanksgiving and Christmas all wrapped up in one.  Should be a great day and we are blessed to be joined by our cousin, Tony Gettig, from Michigan.

I have had one Alabama fan contact me to share that he feels Alabama will win the game tomorrow by six points.  Have I mentioned that I think Auburn will win the game?

Not sure if I will post an entry tomorrow or not.  Please remember the canned goods for Faith by Works.

I pray that you will have a great Friday with Jesus.
