John Whalen’s father passed from this life yesterday morning.  He lived in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan.  Arrangements are pending.  Pray for John & his family during this time.

Eddie Brinkman remains in the hospital and has taken a slight step backwards due to low blood pressure.  Keep praying for Eddie & Lisa.

Plans call for Betty Hamil to move to Montana later this month.  This will put her closer to her daughter.  Pray for Betty during this time of transition.  Thank you to each person who has been faithful to minister to Betty.  Clara Broadus has been a very dear friend and I appreciate her commitment to Andy & Betty

Lisa’s dad, Charles Clark, has been having some rough days recently.  Prayers appreciated for Charles & Ann.

I also appreciate you praying for my cousin, Rachel Crouch.  She is a sweetheart of sweethearts!  She will meet with an oncologist this coming Monday, 11/9.

I was in our morning service yesterday.  What a faithful group those “old” folks are!  Bro. Abel shared a message from Jeremiah 1.  Jeanette Bates was in both services yesterday so she wins the “church member of the day” award for yesterday.

By the way, our senior adults will be treated to a meal on 11/18 immediately following the morning service.  This meal will be catered by Kitchen of the Sea.  Come to the church service and then gather around the table.

Pray for Friendship’s next pastor.  Pray for Bro. Abel as he leads us through this time of transition.  Pray for those who will be leading the search for God’s will for the next pastor.
