TUESDAY, 10/25/11

Visited with Louise Morris yesterday morning.  She was awake and talked to me some but I could barely hear heard and had a difficult time understanding what she was telling me.  Keep praying.

Earl Gunter is receiving daily radiation treatments.  Pray for him.

Gage continues to need our prayers also.  Those prayers need to include his mother, Callie, and his grandmother, Pattie.

“Potluck with the pastor” takes place tomorrow immediately following our 10:00AM service.  It will be “different” in that it will take place at our house as Lisa and I will have an open house for that group of people.  We are providing the entire meal with the exception of the desserts which you are asked to bring.  Lisa and I will be honored to have you in our home!

Work day takes place this Saturday, 10/29, with breakfast being served at 7:30AM in the fellowship hall.  The work portion begins at 8:00AM.  We need pressure washers, mowers, yard tools, flower bed workers, hedge trimmers, et cetera.  Most of all, we need many hands to make light work.  We will not work past noon.

The Hallelujah Festival takes place next Monday, 10/31, from 5:00 – 8:00PM.  As always, workers, candy, and cakes are needed.  Pray for this ministry opportunity and make plans to be a part of it!

Pray for Bro. Chris and those helping him as they host the Grand Bay Middle School football banquet tonight.

Soy needs a root canal.  Said yesterday afternoon that his face hurts!  My reply, “your face has been hurting me for years!”  The reality is that a root canal is not going to help that problem!  Plastic surgery maybe but not a root canal!

Speaking of Soy, we anxiously await the arrival of Soyetta!  Deidra knows that there are limited days when she can give birth b/c of my schedule.

I do not know why but I enjoyed watching Jacksonville completely dominate Baltimore last night in the NFL game.  Also saw where the Rangers are now up 3 – 2 as they head back to St. Louis.

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus.
