WEDNESDAY, 10/26/11

Happy birthday to my sister, Melissa!  I will not reveal her age but will say that in two more years she will reach that magical 39 count!  Melissa, hope your day is great!

Lisa and I visited with Miss Louise Morris yesterday morning.  She was awake and fairly alert.  Keep praying!  By the way, thanks to those who are helping with the food.

Keep praying for Gage and his family also.  He remains at home in Satsuma.

Why did I ever agree to have “potluck with the pastor” at our house?  It is a little after 4:00AM and Lisa is already barking orders!  LOL!  Actually, we are blessed to host this today and look forward to being joined by other members of the Friendship family.  I appreciate the help my mother-in-law, Ann, and our church hostess, Marisa Felps, are giving to Lisa.  My plans are to end today’s morning service a few minutes early and then come to the house for a great meal and even greater fellowship.  Remember, we have all of the food and we only ask that you bring the desserts!

Otherwise, we are on a regular schedule for today with the 7:00PM service along with children’s choir and the various classes/Bible studies.  I hope you will join us!

I pray that you will have a great Wednesday with Jesus!

    Good Morning Pastor,
Gage was very tired yesterday. He slept most of the day. When I got there after work he was awake and we talked. At one point he was just quiet and thinking, I ask him what he was thinking about ands he said dying. My heart was instantly broken and tears filled my eyes. He said “I’m not afraid.”. We talked about how short this time here on earth is compared to our time with Jesus in Heaven. He listens to every word and I know he is comforted by the peace of God. He listens to praise and worship music most of the time. I am so thankful to know if he isn’t here with us he will be able to live forever in Heaven.
