WHERE IS THE APOLOGY FROM MARK MAST?

I am not real smart but I do know my Asian holidays simply because we have one, or two, or three, or four (depends on the day) living with us.  Plus, I have an Asian son-in-law and an Asian Minister to Students.  How dare Mark Mast challenge my accuracy on this subject!

“Ethnic Vietnamese and Chinese around the world have been preparing in recent days for the Lunar New Year, one of the biggest events of the year for celebrants.

“It’s one of the major holidays that we value,” said Van Le, chairman of the New Jersey Vietnamese-American Community Association. The Vietnamese New Year is generally celebrated on the same day as the Chinese New Year.”

I think you need some citations if you are going to continue this debate on the blog…
    Happy New Year

I humbly submit to the superior wisdom and knowledge of Pastor Teddie and his insights of the Oriental world and the New Year celebration they engaged in yesterday. I sincerely apologize to Pastor Teddie and all those who possibly believed that he would an any way try to mislead his blog congregation. (This is a church now right?) I repent in dust and ashes. I can only beseech you all to understand how mind-numbing the C-O-L-D has been here in Canada for the past two months. This morning it was yet again a bone-chilling 22 below zero! We don’t even bother mentioning what that translates in wind-chill factors. Of course, as you all may (or may not) know, Pastor Teddie doesn’t believe there is such a thing as “cold”. So, there is no use trying to get any sympathy from him. I will merely challenge him once again to come to Canada for a visit and spend an hour outdoors with no jacket on (like he enjoys doing so much in the Michigan banana belt). Then he can tell me to my face whether or not there is no such thing as cold. In closing, I do again sincerely apologize to Pastor Teddie and all of you for questioning Pastor Teddie in regards to the Vietnamese New Year celebration. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 🙂
