THURSDAY, 9/25/14

Today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 45;11-48:11 Ephesians 4:1-16 Psalm 68:19-35 Proverbs 24:3-4

Reb Nevin is scheduled to have a heart cath today.  I have not been able to contact her for the details.  (Reb, please send me an e-mail with those details.  Thanks!)  Pray that all goes well.

If everything goes as planned, “C” will be discharged from the hospital today – hallelujah!  She has looked very good the last two days (of course, I always think “C” looks good but I am biased!).  She is ready to get out of the hospital and her family is ready for her to do so too.

Daphne did very well through her surgery yesterday morning.  She should be discharged this morning.  Her chemotherapy treatments should begin the week of 10/13 but that is my calculation and not the doctor’s.

Rick Bradley remains hospitalized but did get a free upgrade as he changed rooms.

Deidra was discharged yesterday afternoon.  Audrey basically remains the same.  Soy & Deidra were given a courtesy room in the hospital so they are staying near the ICU in order to be close to Audrey.

Lisa and I visited Nate & Megan Brewer yesterday morning.  Baby Case continues to recover from his surgery.  Keep praying!

The visitation with the Dottie Dueitt family takes place today from 5:00 – 8:00PM at Serenity Funeral Home.  Service tomorrow at noon.  Pray for the Dueitt family.

We had a good attendance yesterday in our services.  That was especially true in our morning service even though several of our regular attendees were in TN.  (Why would anyone want to go to TN?)  We did cancel the 7:30PM service as things simply did not work out around here.  Lisa is a vital cog in our hosting that service.  My life is way incomplete without her.

The Mission of Hope service which is hosted by the Friendship family takes place tomorrow night beginning at 7:00PM.  Bus leaves the church at 6:15PM.

We have blog readers in Spain!  Found out yesterday that Mario & Amuy Monroy keep up with us via this means.  That means we now have eleven readers in six different countries – USA, Guatemala, Canada, China, Spain and Mississippi!  Amazing!

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.

Two Years, write your Senators and Congressman to urge them to help get this man released.

Will you join us in prayer for American Pastor Saeed?
Friday, September 26th, marks the two-year anniversary of Pastor Saeed’s illegal imprisonment because of his Christian faith.
Two years apart from his wife. Two years without seeing his two kids.
All across the world, thousands of people are gathering to pray for Pastor Saeed and the persecuted Church.
There are over 500 prayer vigils scheduled in 33 countries around the world, including the kick-off event in front of the White House with Franklin Graham and Pastor Saeed’s wife Naghmeh that I will be attending.
Please consider attending a prayer vigil nearest you, and invite your friends.
As we continue fighting globally for his release, it’s time to pray for Pastor Saeed. It’s time for his freedom.
