TUESDAY, 6/23/15

Today’s Bible reading – 2 Kings 4:18-5:27 Acts 15:1-35 Psalm 141:1-10 Proverbs 17:23

Made a hospital visit yesterday morning and that person was doing well and expected to go home later in the day.  Not sure if that happened or not.

Had a really good time visiting with the folks in the convalescent home as I had missed the previous two weeks due to being in Guatemala.  A couple of folks were fast asleep but everyone else was doing well.  I always go to Miss Wittner first to get the scoop and she said all was well.

Pastor Keith Martin asked that we pray for his wife, Andrea, as he had to take her to the hospital on Sunday night.  She has been diagnosed with diverticulitis.

Prayer meeting tonight from 5:00 – 7:00PM.  I have missed the past two Tuesdays and it seems like an eternity to me.  Lord willing, I will there tonight for the entire time.  Come join me.  Come and go or come and stay – just pray!

TNBA tonight too!  We begin at 7:00PM.  I have missed about three or four weeks but, Lord willing, will be back full force tonight.  I even have a little surprise that is going to make me that much more effective.  With Paul being gone, no one will be able to stop me!

Wow, what a storm we had yesterday afternoon.  I was mowing and it forced me inside.  The rain would not have been an issue but the lightning and I do not get along.  Thank God for the rain.

I pray that you will have a great Tuesday with Jesus.

    Brothers and Sisters,

American Pastor Saeed has now suffered 1,000 days.
1,000 days of beatings, threats, and demands he recant his Christian faith.
But the world is speaking out. 1,000,000 people have now signed our petition demanding Pastor Saeed’s freedom.
That’s 1,000 voices for every day Pastor Saeed – a U.S. citizen – has been imprisoned in Iran.
With just days before the stated nuclear negotiation deadline, now it is more important than ever to be heard. If you haven’t yet, add your name today.
Sign the Petition: Free Pastor Saeed Today.
In two days, the trial of Christian Pastors Michael and Peter continues in Sudan.
They’ve been denied visitation in the prison with their attorney.
They could be hanged for their faith. We’re working with Mariam Ibraheem (who we helped free from death row last year in Sudan) to free them.
    Be heard today.
Sign the Petition: Free Pastors Michael and Peter Today.
Together, we’re making a difference for persecuted Christians.
Go to aclj.org to sign the petition.
    Thank you.
