“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”  (Psalm 119:11)

Every weather forecaster is calling for some possibly severe weather in our area beginning maybe as early as 3:00 – 4:00PM.  Therefore, our church office will close today at 3:30PM which is one hour earlier than normal.  If what they are predicting becomes reality then I encourage everyone to take these advisories seriously and to take the necessary precautions.

Our eleventh hour call for help with the trimming of the shrubs at the church ended up being blessed.  Let me begin by giving props to Bob Evans and Scott Kirschenman as they were there at 7:00AM and worked hard.  Scott did the difficult stuff i.e. trimmed all of the high shrubs.  Bro. Jerry Hovel came and helped for a few minutes with the raking.  Then Danny “McGyver” Lewis came with more tools than Carter has liver pills to help with the clean up.  Then the Calvary arrived!  Lee Fore sent his crew of four and it was all over but the shouting!  They helped with some of the trimming, cleaned up and were gone in a matter of thirty minutes or so.  I am very, very grateful for each of these men and the part they played in making the flower beds look much better.  Gary “Cooter” Walton is on the clock now and he will do a nice job of planting flowers and sprucing things up!

Joe Ladnier remains in the hospital but, Lord willing, only one more night as he will be discharged tomorrow.  Keep praying.

Wendy Johnston is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow afternoon.

Sunrise service at 6:00AM on Sunday.  Sunday School at 9:15AM.  Worship at 10:30AM.  Evangelist Michael Mason will be bringing the message in both of our services.  Pray, invite others, pray, attend.

If all goes as planned, I should get my final seeds for the garden in the ground today.  They may get washed away but it is what it is.  May set some plants later but all of the seeds will be in the ground.

I pray that you will have a great Thursday with Jesus.
